I've had this material in my stash for a long time and last night thought it time so sew something with it. Sadly my first attempt failed as the dress was miles too big and is now part of my 'to sell' pile. I was rather disappointed though and so very late last night I made another, smaller version with the left over fabric. This one fits much better and Miss A. loves it. Perfect!

that dress is so so cute Ansia!! The colour combination is just perfect, its amazing how denim pretty much goes with everything. I am sure the big one will sell super fast:)
Thanks Naomi! Yeah, there is something about primary colours and denim that works really well. Isn't it strange how when the fabric combination works well the project is usually finished quickly. And yes the dress is sold. A friend a church loved the dress on Anja and when I told her I had another in her daughter's size she said she wanted it. So quickly I am still a little stunned!
I thought that it was only me who passed 'too big', 'too small' things into the 'too sell' pile! It was lovely to meet you today. I'm glad you liked the little gnomes! Cheers Jen
It looks great - Love the fabric. And I too love the way that denim goes with a multitude of things (for children and adults alike!)
